These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
dragon-gscale is a trading name of dragon-gscale Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under Company Registration Number 5626175. Our V.A.T. registration number is GB 862 2898 88.

In respect of any order you will have the opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until you click the submit order button. Any details given by you will be for the sole use of dragon-gscale Limited and will NOT be disclosed to any third party. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). The model railroad equipment & accessories we sell are not toys, and are not intended for use by children under the age of 14,

If any item(s) ordered is/are out of stock, we will endeavour to obtain from our Supplier within an acceptable timescale. You will be advised of the situation and any item(s) unavailable with our Supplier(s) will be placed on back order subject to your approval. You may of course request an immediate refund should any item ordered be unavailable to suit your timescale. Where price should change between order/reservation date and date of delivery you will be asked to pay the new price concerned. Orders to be paid for by cheque will only be confirmed on receipt of said cheque and dispatch will take place following clearance (4 working days). In regard to certain items prices quoted can vary where dependency on exchange rates are concerned. Those items displaying a NIL purchase price are unavailable/out of stock and will be removed from your basket unless specific written instruction is given by you as advice of pre-order and as such we may request a deposit payment against the given item(s) .Where service item orders are concerned it is understood that the order is placed on your behalf directly with the manufacturer - The contract of purchase is binding at the time of order unless cancelled by us. 
We operate a DCC Decoder installation service and this may include work carried out by a third party.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and during checkout stage. You can turn off cookies by going to 'Tools/Internet Options/Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. By blocking cookies you will be unable to place orders or benefit from other features that may use cookies.

We try very hard to ensure your order arrives in pristine condition but it is inevitable that some damage may occur at some time. Such items can be returned for full refund or exchange within 14 days of receipt and also applies to any faulty item received. Items are returned at your own expense unless agreed otherwise. It is your responsibilty to check the goods on delivery. You will be required to submit your original invoice for any warranty claim. Faulty MaerklinLGB Items should be returned directly to The Hobby Company in the United Kingdom, their address and contact details will be supplied on request, and all returns will be at your own expense; these warranty repairs will be carried out if accepted and subject to the availability of the spare part(s) required.  A manufacturer's warranty is given in respect of goods sold. In the unlikely event of a manufacturer ceasing to operate existing stock may be purchased but may not include any warranty. We do not provide any warranties ourselves and we exclude any warranties express or implied by statute, common law or of any other kind.

The "maximum carriage charge" only relates to items purchased. It does not apply to items sent to us for repair, decoder fitment or for any reason not previously agreed, where carriage will be chargeable to cover our costs.   

IMPORTANT: POWER SUPPLY: For safety and reliability, operation of MaerklinLGB locomotives and accessories should be via MaerklinLGB power supplies (transformers, power-packs, controls) only. The use of non-Maerklin/LGB power supplies will VOID your warranty.
Massoth electronics are compatible with Maerklin/LGB and their use is accepted.
dragon-gscale Limited cannot be held responsible for any ommissions/translations made by the Manufacturer to their instruction manuals.
Please note that orders accepted from UK residents can only be despatched to addresses within the UK and will be subject to the payment of V.A.T at the current rate.  
V.A.T. is chargeable (currently 17.50%) and is included in the price as shown. A breakdown is shown at the checkout stage. Any order placed and for shipment outside of the EEC and for permanent export will not be subjct to the addition of V.A.T. (Subject to the terms and conditions of H.M. Customs and Excise). Orders can only be taken and sent to the delivery zones specified, any order placed outside specified zones will be cancelled immediately.
From time to time we may offer discounts on some or all of the products we offer. This may be as a special offer or via membership to certain Forums and/or societies. Any discount offered is at our discretion and may be used once only per order. Orders placed by retailers and other suppliers will not qualify for discount. Any discount taken through purchasing of gift vouchers cannot be used again on their redemption.
Most orders are delivered by courier but a postal service may be used depending on the value and/or size of the order. Proof of posting and/or consignment note details will be made available in the event of non-delivery or receipt of part delivery. dragon-gscale cannot be held responsible after items have been sent except in the event of damaged/faulty items where at our discretion a replacement, repair or refund may be made. A failed delivery may result in the package being returned to us - Should re-delivery be requested this will incur an additional carriage charge OR should you wish to cancel the re-delivery we will refund your account with the amount equivalent to the original order less the original amount charged for carriage.  In the event that an order contains in part any number of unreleased items and you require immediate despatch of current items you may be required to pay an additional amount of postage. Any request for next day delivery service resulting in weekend delivery will carry an additional charge.
