The PIKO V20, the little sister to the three-axle V36 is another very versatile locomotive choice for the garden railroading enthusiast. The locomotive can be used as a switcher or as a road engine pulling short passenger or freight trains. Both axles are driven. The jackshaft with rotating counterweight between the axles is a special eye-catcher. Just like the PIKO V36 before, the PIKO V20 correctly reproduces the many louvers and vents that are typical for the prototype. The model features separately applied freestanding grab irons. It is equipped with white directional lighting, prepared for DCC conversion and can be fitted with diesel sound.
For prototypical sound use the PIKO sound kit 36224 in conjunction with the PIKO loco decoder 36122.
