The V60 series of diesel locomotives on the DB/DB AG have performed well for over 50 years in switching service for passenger and light freight trains. Although the DB AG has begun phasing out the series, the V 60 locomotive's charm remains intact. The loco is still very popular today with private railroad companies and shortlines.
