MASSOTH 8151001 eMOTION POWER BUFFER.

The eMOTION Power Buffer bridges short power interruptions occurring with small locomotives with short axis-center distances.
The motor and the special functions are powered by the buffer during these power outages. The eMOTION Power Buffer provides an outstanding operation in problematical areas as isolated track connections and switches.
The duration of the buffer operation depends on the electrical load, charging status of the buffer and the actual speed and varies between 0.5 and 2 seconds.

The eMOTION Power Buffer may be connected to any decoder that provides connections to Decoder+ and GND.

• Maximum operating voltage: 27V = (DC)
• Maximum current consumption: 160 mA (at 24V digital voltage)
• Maximum current output: 1 Amp continuous current (maximum allowable current peaks up to 3 Amps)
• Maximum recharging time: about 4 sec. (if completely discharged)
• Buffer time: 0.5 to 2 sec. (depending on load, speed and charge)
• Tested on Massoth, LGB, Lenz, and Zimo
