BACHMANN Durango & Silverton Freight Starter Set. UNAVAILABLE
After founding the town of Durango, Colorado in 1880, the Denver & Rio Grande Railway began construction of a rail line the following year that connected their new community to nearby Silverton. Designed primarily to haul gold ans silver from the San Juan Mountains, it is estimated that more than $300million in precious metals have travelled the line throughout its history. This DURANGO & SILVERTON FREIGHT set comes complete with a 4-6-0 steam locomotive (with operating headlight, smoke and speed synchronised sound), coal tender, box car, bobber caboose, 5'4" x 4'3" oval of track (14 pieces), power pack and speed controller, illustrated "Bach Man" instruction manual, and DVD format video instructions.
